Afternoon Tea is a British ritual. It is a mini-meal in the late afternoon, which is meant to be bridging the time until dinner at 8 p.m. Scones are very often part of the afternoon tea. They are served with clotted cream and jam - but there are many more variants, which we will get to know in this course: plain, with dried fruit, with cheddar, herbs etc. While cooking and preparing we will be talking about the recipes, tea and this British tradition.
