U.S. Midterm Elections 2026 : Get informed - choose one or more modules:  Monday, Nov 2nd - Tuesday,  Nov, 3rd. - Thursday, Nov 5th.

With major elections coming up in the U.S. in November, this mini-course gives participants an introduction to the peculiarities of the American political system (module 1, Monday, Nov 2nd) and the 2026 campaign in particular (module 2 on Tuesday, Nov 3rd), ending with a more open session for an overview and discussion of the election results and their implications (module 3 on Thursday, Nov 5th). All three modules can  be booked individually.

Module 3: U.S. Midterm Elections 2026. Making sense of the outcomes: Overview and discussion

By November 5 most results of the midterm elections should be available, so we will discuss key outcomes and takeaways. In this last module we will get an overview of the election results. We will try to discuss these results in a neutral, balanced way and we will try to understand their implications for US national politics and also for Europe, Germany, and transatlantic relations.

This module is focused on speaking and discussion.

A B1 Level of English or above is recommended.
